Aluminum Sub-Rail:

Two-Piece Rail:
Permits easy and instant removal/replacement of the top hardened steel rail compared to a one-piece rail construction;
Sub-rail continuously supports the top hardened steel rail at the junction point;
Restricts both lateral and horizontal movement;
Ensures a smooth weight transfer from one track section to the other;
Provides greater structural rigidity;
Ensures that all rail connection joints provide horizontal and vertical continuity between rail sections;
Prevents any vertical difference between two adjoining rails compared to the overlap of a one-piece rail with a tongue-and-groove joint.
